Auto-zoom your screen recording on every click
The smooth zoom-in-on-click effect you see in polished product demos is usually hours of keyframing in a video editor. ReelCap renders it live while you record: every click pulls the view in, holds while you work, then eases back out — at the magnification, dwell time and speed you choose. It runs entirely in your browser and is part of ReelCap Pro.
Doing it without an extension
- 1Record your screen normally with any recorder, keeping the footage at full resolution.
- 2Import the clip into a video editor such as Premiere, Final Cut or a dedicated demo tool.
- 3For every click, add position and scale keyframes by hand: zoom in, hold, zoom back out.
- 4Export the edited video and re-check the timing — then repeat the export for every correction.
Where that falls short
- Keyframing every click routinely takes longer than recording the demo did.
- Desktop editors are heavyweight installs, and the good demo-focused ones are paid apps of their own.
- Every timing tweak means another render — the edit-export-review loop eats the rest of the afternoon.
Doing it with ReelCap

- 3Record your demo as usual — each click zooms in live, holds and eases back out on its own.
- 4Stop and download: the zoom is already rendered into the file, with nothing left to edit.
