1. Who we are

ReelCap (reelcap.xeviora.com) is a product of Xeviora. Xeviora is a brand operated by LIU HU, a sole proprietor ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account, installing our browser extension or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ReelCap.

2. The service

ReelCap is a browser extension for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that records a browser tab you choose — typically your own web app or a product demo — to a video file, with optional microphone audio, a webcam bubble and cursor effects. Recording, compositing and exporting happen entirely in your browser; your recordings are never uploaded to us. The website reelcap.xeviora.com provides optional accounts and plan management.

The Free plan includes recording and WEBM export and works without an account. The Pro features — click auto-zoom, MP4 export and GIF export — require a free account plus an active Pro subscription, a Lifetime plan or free Pro credits (see section 6). ReelCap does not include any AI features.

We may improve, change or discontinue features over time. If we remove a core paid feature you are paying for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and request a refund under our Refund Policy.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Payments, billing and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Checkout for all Xeviora products is handled securely on xeviora.com. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms). Charges appear on your card or bank statement as "PADDLE.NET* XEVIORA" (or "PAYPAL *PADDLE.NET" for PayPal). For invoices, receipts, payment methods and refunds you can also visit https://paddle.net.

Prices are shown in USD. Taxes may apply depending on your location and are calculated at checkout.

5. Subscriptions and Lifetime

Paid plans (Pro, at $2.99 per month or $19 per year) are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing page (Manage subscription) or via the link in your receipt email. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We will notify you before any price change takes effect.

A Lifetime plan ($39) is a one-time payment that gives you access to the Pro features for as long as ReelCap is offered. It does not renew. If we ever discontinue ReelCap, we will give at least 90 days' notice.

6. Free Pro credits

When you create a free account, you receive 10 free Pro credits as a one-time trial. Each use of a Pro feature (a recording with click auto-zoom, an MP4 recording or conversion, or a GIF export) uses one credit. Free Pro credits are granted once per account and do not refresh. They cannot be purchased, have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be sold, gifted, exchanged or redeemed for cash, and can only be used within ReelCap. They are not a stored-value or payment instrument. We may withhold or remove free credits if we detect abuse, such as creating multiple accounts to obtain more credits.

7. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on every purchase. See our Refund Policy at https://reelcap.xeviora.com/refund. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ReelCap to: break any law; infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy; access content or data you are not authorised to access; violate the terms of third-party websites or services; send spam or unsolicited messages; collect personal data about others without a lawful basis; interfere with or overload our systems; or resell or share the service without our permission.

Only record content you own or have permission to record. Do not use ReelCap to copy or redistribute copyrighted material such as streaming video, or to record other people, private conversations or confidential information without the consent and rights required by law.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create or record. Your recordings stay on your own device and are never sent to us, so we need no rights to them; for the little account data we do hold, you grant us only the permissions needed to operate the service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you use with ReelCap.

10. Intellectual property

ReelCap, Xeviora and their software, design and branding belong to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned on our sites belong to their owners; ReelCap is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

11. Disclaimers and liability

ReelCap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Termination

You can stop using ReelCap and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Cancellation of a paid plan is handled as described in section 5.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.
